We understand that there is often confusion about “live-in” care, and you may have questions about this type of service. Typically, the caregiver lives in the home w/ the client, is available when needed, and provides “around the clock” care providing that there is a separate bedroom for them.
There is no additional charge for this service and in fact, often it is more affordable. The meals are usually provided by the client or family member, and the caregiver may drive your car or theirs, whatever you prefer
This type of service provides the client an increased level of care at home while assisting them with medication reminders or avoiding an accidental fall. Remaining independent and safe “around the clock” with a live-in caregiver will allow your loved one to avoid the need to transition to an assisted living facility or nursing home.
